a) Personal data are processed for the purpose of performing the contract for the provision of legal services, pursuant to the Act of 26 May 1982 - Law on the Bar (Journal of Laws 1982 No. 16 item 124, as amended).
b) Personal data are processed on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 - the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which entered into force on 25 May 2018. Personal data on convictions referred to in Article 10 of the GDPR are processed under the supervision of a public authority, which in this case is the District Bar Council in Warsaw.
d) Your personal data, in connection with the implementation of the purposes specified in point a), may be transferred to data recipients, i.e. courts and public authorities, parties and participants in the proceedings, entities performing public tasks or acting on behalf of the authorities, to the extent and for the purposes resulting from the provisions of law, e.g. the General Inspector of Financial Information; personal data may also be transferred to third countries from the list of the EU-US Privacy Shields agreement.
e) Personal data will be stored by Adw.WK for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of the contract, but no longer than 5 years from the end of the financial year in which the contract was terminated and any determination, investigation or defense against claims, which are a legitimate interest pursued by Adw.WK (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the GDPR), and also for archival (evidence) purposes in the event of a legal need to prove facts, which is a legitimate interest pursued by Adw.WK (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the GDPR).
f) You have the right to access your personal data, rectify it, delete it, limit its processing and the right to object to its processing, as well as the right to transfer data. In such a case, I indicate that some of the above requests may result in the impossibility of performing the contract. At the same time, I inform you about the risk associated with maintaining confidentiality when using electronic means of communication. Withdrawal of consent to processing affects the lawfulness of processing based on the consent granted before its withdrawal.
